Job Description

The OSEA Sales Engineer is responsible for achievement of projected sales targets in the given geographies. Handling interactions with dealerships, customers, coordination for sales processes including invoices, dispatch and delivery of goods are critical to the role holder.

Educational Qualification / Experience required :

- Graduate degree in Engineering

- Experience of 2 to 8 years in selling industrial / engineering products/compressors.

- Exposure to international markets is an added advantage"

Key Responsibilities :

1. Responsible for providing support in achieving sales targets

2. Responsible for sales processes including invoicing, documentation and delivery of goods

3. Handle interactions with dealers, customer queries and build dealer relationships

4. Prospecting new dealers for appointment for each of the product market segment as applicable

5. Competitor and market analysis"

1. Responsible for providing support in achieving sales targets

Establish rapport with dealers to communicate sales targets and sales processes

Communicate regularly with dealer engineers, sales engineers to coordinate for sales activities, as appropriate

Generate leads through existing contacts, other resources

Collate information, data from exhibitions, online space and other resources for market analysis in support of sales lead generation

Address enquiries from dealers, customers and sales team, as appropriate

Send introductory mails, sales collaterals, brochures information documents, periodically in aid of sales lead generation

Coodinate with resources within country / HO to provide technical information and support to dealers and people on field

2. Responsible for sales processes including invoicing, documentation and delivery of goods

Prepare offers and other sales documents, as appropriate

Track and monitor advance and other payments as per schedule

Send and track invoices with correct order of items, final quotation, etc

Maintain records and ensure documentation for sales and collections activities

Escalate issues in payment, discrepancies, default in payment dates, etc, as necessary

-Budgeting

3. Handle interactions with dealers, customer queries and build dealer relationships

Coordinate with dealer and address all queries raised by the dealers

Update the dealer of order progress and communicate any obstacles and bottlenecks

Make periodic courtesy calls to determine future needs and requirements

Develop dealer modules and suitable set of documents to expedit work processes in a structured manner

Send product brochures, technical information to dealers including catalogues

Provide support to dealer, address any queries, escalate any issues for resolution, as appropriate

Track and monitor dealer reports and on time MIS from the region

4. Prospecting new dealers for appointment for each of the product market segment

Study the competitors network and identify Dealer prospects

Analyze the market and prepare engagement with prospects along with Countryhead for futher process

Analysing the prospected dealer to the defined profile and prepare the dealer evaluation forms for approval

Eeffectively engage and secure stock order

Move the probationary dealer to the rguar dealer category through scucessful performance on mutually agreed targets

5.Competitor and Market Analysis

To develop network to collect information on competition - product launches, pricing , product features etc

To gain insight in to market trends on the segmetns that are considered for Sales budget and give pro active alerts
