The thrust of the work will be to promote effective programming to address child labour at state and district level<\/p><p><strong>Qualifications, experience and competencies required<\/strong>:<\/p><ul>\n<li>University degree in the social sciences, law or child development.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum&nbsp; two years relevant professional work experience in project management in the development sector, including field work with rural communities and interactions with institutions at state, district, and sub-district level, preferably focused on child labour or other child protection issues.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Knowledge of local working language of the duty station is required<\/li>\n<\/ul><p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.unicef.org\/india\/careers_6894.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here<\/a> to view details<\/p><p><strong>Child Protection Specialist (Job Code &ndash; UNCPM)<\/strong><br>\n<strong>Location<\/strong>:&nbsp; Mumbai<\/p><p><strong>Job function<\/strong>:<\/p><ul>\n<li>The incumbent will be responsible for facilitating and influencing the State Government&rsquo;s policy, as well as planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Child Protection programme in the state of Maharashtra.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>The jobholder works in the state of Maharashtra at both State and District levels.<\/li>\n<\/ul><p><strong>Qualifications, experience and competencies required<\/strong>:<\/p><ul>\n<li>Advanced university degree in any of the following: Social Sciences, Child Development, Education, or other fields related to the work of UNICEF.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum five years progressively responsible professional work experience in social development, project administration, monitoring and evaluation.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
