JD 1 - Senior Automation Engineer – Role SummarySeeking a Senior Automation Engineer (4+ years) with strong expertise in automation design, development, and CI/CD integration. The role focuses on building scalable automation frameworks, improving test efficiency, and embedding quality engineering practices within Agile delivery teams.Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks across UI and API layers.
Contribute to automation strategy and framework enhancements for improved efficiency and coverage.
Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
Collaborate with Developers, QA, Product Owners, and DevOps teams.
Perform API and service-level validations along with UI automation.
Ensure test data preparation and backend validation using SQL.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.
Identify automation opportunities and reduce manual regression efforts.
Troubleshoot automation failures and improve framework stability.
Drive continuous improvement in quality engineering practices.Requirements
Strong hands-on experience in automation using tools such as Playwright, Cypress.
Experience with API automation and service validation.
Good programming/scripting knowledge (JavaScript, Java, Python, etc.).
Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Strong SQL skills for backend validation.
Understanding of Agile, DevOps, and shift-left testing practices.
Experience with Jira and test management tools.
Knowledge of version control systems (GitHub) and branching strategies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
