Mintel is looking to build a small pool of senior freelance consultants in Thailand to support our Consulting team on an ad‑hoc and project basis.

This role suits experienced professionals who can translate social, digital and consumer data into future-focused FMCG recommendations, including trend, innovation and growth opportunities.

The role

As a freelance consultant, you'll support consulting projects across Thailand, bringing social listening expertise and strategic thinking to client-ready insights. Engagements will vary from short-term project support to participation in workshops or client discussions.

What we're looking for:

We are particularly interested in candidates with:

10+ years experience in social listening, consumer insights, digital insights, brand strategy or related consulting roles
Experience applying social listening methodologies within FMCG, including Beauty / Personal Care, Food & Drink or adjacent consumer categories
Strong understanding of Thailand market
Ability to turn social, digital and consumer signals into clear strategic recommendations, trends and innovation opportunities
Fluent Thai and English (spoken and written)

Ability to work remotely, with availability aligned to project needs
Freelance / independent contractor
Ad hoc or project-based assignments
Day rates to be agreed based on experience and availability
