Our products drive human progress. Our Purchasing team drives the progress of our supply systems. We lead strategic and operational commodity teams, while developing supplier strategy, long-range plans and the optimization of the global supply chain. Our remit includes setting delivery performance goals and implementing procurement initiatives and process improvements. We also oversee the planning and obtaining of materials, components, equipment and services for all parts of the business, including checking requisitions, developing new supply sources and ensuring best quality at best value from third parties.

What you'll achieve
As a DGP Hub project manager, you will plan and obtain new DGP requests for new commodities\vendors for all global DGP hub sites, working withbuyer, logistics, finance and trade compliance global operations departments on coordinating the setup in the current or new strategic hubs
You will:
  • Manage DGP logistics service providers(LSP) billing for all DGP hub and forwarders, including yearly budget plan, monthly billing execution, quarter end actual reports, regular cost analysis reports and supplier account and profile maintenance in DELL billing system.
  • Responsible for solving all financial discrepancy between DELL and LSP, including but not limited to compensations, wrong billing and payment process related issues and coordinate and lead regular operational KPI reviews with all DGP LSP
  • Identify and solve hub process improvement opportunities (process and tools) - OTP, inventory accuracy, returns, system issues
  • Responsible for managing hub optimization strategy/new enablement/process enhancement and hub related deployment of various projects/programs and analyze demand and ODM roadmap to provide DGP hub space forecast and utilization attainment
  • Coordinate operational support for holidays/quarter end and special events and collaborate with WWP logistics & sourcing team on cost reduction strategies and logistics service provider performance.
  • Focal point to DGP buyers for inter-regional transfer request and issues related to all DGP strategic hubs/ VMI operation and inter-ODM movements
  • Co-work with Inventory Control & Finance stock accountants on monthly and quarter end inventory reconciliation and stock audits and PMO\DGP Onboarding of new requests, and support strategic projects

  • Industry Knowledge and proven Excel Skills

Desirable Requirements
  • Bachelors/Masters degree or +5 years experience
