Job Title: Air Logistics Booking Officer

Contract Term: 1 Year Contract (Renewable)

Reports To: Logistics Manager

Working: 5 Days/Week

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Job Overview:

The Air Logistics Booking Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient transportation of goods by air. This position involves coordinating airfreight shipments, booking cargo space, and managing documentation to facilitate smooth logistics operations. The role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of air cargo regulations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cargo Booking:
    • Coordinate with airlines to book cargo space for outbound and inbound shipments.
    • Ensure timely and accurate booking of airfreight, considering factors like cargo volume, weight, and delivery deadlines.
  • Documentation:
    • Prepare and verify all necessary documentation for airfreight shipments, including airway bills, customs paperwork, and export/import permits.
    • Ensure compliance with international airfreight regulations and customs requirements.
  • Communication:
    • Maintain effective communication with customers, airlines, and other stakeholders to provide shipment updates and resolve any issues.
    • Respond promptly to inquiries and provide information regarding shipment status.
  • Cargo Tracking:
    • Monitor the progress of airfreight shipments to ensure they reach their destinations on time.
    • Address any delays or issues that may arise during transportation and inform relevant parties.
  • Cost Management:
    • Negotiate rates with airlines and service providers to optimize cost-efficiency while maintaining service quality.
    • Prepare cost estimates and provide pricing information to customers.
  • Compliance:
    • Stay up-to-date with air cargo regulations and industry standards.
    • Ensure adherence to all relevant safety and security protocols.
  • Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of airfreight bookings, shipments, and related documents.
    • Generate regular reports on booking status, shipment tracking, and performance metrics.


  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in Air Logistics, cargo booking, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with airfreight regulations, customs procedures, and international shipping requirements.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using logistics software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and regulations (an advantage).
