Join us as an AP SB DnCP Merchandising advisor in our SB ROW unit. This role will be based in Malaysia to do the best work of your career.
The goal of the DnCP Merchandizing advisor is to drive the vision, strategy and to manage the product throughout its lifecycle, smart assortment, promo pricing strategy, maximizing product performance in the local market vs competition.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
. Support Merch lead on all the merchandising activities listed below:
. Own the Unit, Revenue & Margin goals of the product
. Make in-cycle assortment decisions based on changes in cost, material shortage, pricing, competitive responses and market dynamics
.Develops and champions assortment vision and strategy, product roadmap and launches in support of corporate goals and objectives
.Manage offers for marketing vehicles and promo calendar including base price + depth/frequency
.Create monthly Sales playbook through daily interactions with sales team
.Design and execute contingency campaigns and offers, campaign performance review & campaign change recommendations
.Uses customer & market research, customer and user feedback, customer usage/segmentation and competitive analysis to inform assortment decisions and enhancements
.Owns developing the right message to focus on the correct customer segmentation. Building offers that are relevant to the target audience.
.Supports content development of marketing/sales collaterals such as training, product catalogues/brochures as subject matter product knowledge specialist
.Collaborates with cross-functional team to develop, plan and implement new business development initiatives. Example:
Works closely with marketing to launch products and ensure their adoption and effectiveness. Define and align demand generation activities in corporation with Marketing team and drive marcom strategy by making budget recommendations to defining campaign roadmaps and content themes Utilize media agencies and other external vendors to establish a solid go-to-market strategy Coordinates with the product team to manage technology transitions by platform and/or product line. Takes necessary actions to manage short and mid-term stock levels and own the LTS and E&O management with UPP team Works closely with online and OC team to ensure product readiness for selling in online and offline
Required Skills:
. 5 years of related experience
. Understanding of IT sales processes
. Execution orientation to get things done.
. In-depth understanding of internal and external factors that affect company functions
. Understanding of key sales and management reporting tools
.A deep understanding of customer needs, the products and the external landscape
.An innovative and creative spirit, to enjoy the considerable diversity of the role
.Outstanding communication skills and the ability to maximize relationships, positively influencing all colleagues and partners
. Bachelor's degree
