As APJC CSG Chief of Staff, you will be directly reporting to SVP of APJC CSG, and responsible for overseeing planning, sustaining business rhythm, and communicating priorities including executive decision-making, program management, initiative implementation within and across all levels of organizations.
The successful candidate will have the ability to think strategically across the company, partner in business execution, advise on operational issues, and develop key communications that facilitate business execution. This position requires extensive cross-functional coordination at all levels, and excellent communication skills using analytics and insights. We are looking for persuasive, organized, proactive self-starters who excels in ambiguity and superior problem-solving ability with limited oversight.
You will:
  • Develop, plan and manage the Business Management (BMS) cadence for the Executive's organization, consisting of Staff meetings, Monthly Ops Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, semi-annual Leadership Meetings and other ongoing meetings as needed
    • Define BMS and full year calendar cadence for planning.
    • Prioritize time for the week ahead, provide relevant context and associated deliverables.
    • Co-ordinate quarterly planning cadence including cross organization leadership events, external engagement, strategic reviews, quarterly and annual planning process etc.
    • Manage key projects & initiatives reports-out: Work with cross functional stakeholders to highlight key projects / initiatives, friction points, progress and if decisions are required.
    • Manage Weekly Staff Meeting Agenda: Identify and prepare presenters, topics & materials which are aligned to strategy & fiscal year priorities.
  • Represent the priorities of the SVP office with geo leaders, cross functional leaders and Chief of Staff, Finance, HR, CoC, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and the extended stakeholders.
    • Represents APJC CSG in Global CSG initiatives and serve as effective business partner including company climate, project updates, proposals, and planning.
    • Serve as an extension of the HR to address and resolve all employee concerns and well-being. Support execution of HR activities (e.g. university relations hiring).
    • Lead Strategy Cascade, Tell Dell Action Planning, Training, Compliance requirements, and Inspire.
    • Serve as an extension of the Finance team for finance support including management of budget and reallocation of funding (with leadership approval) as needed.
  • Build and sustain effective communications and strategic executive presentations with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams Work closely with executive communications (as applicable) to support speaking engagements on behalf of the Executive
    • Manage overall leadership communication strategy, roadmap, and approach to ensure effective and impactful outcome.
    • Central point of readiness management for presentations, collaborating across support functions including geo leaders, cross functional teams, Finance, HR, CoC, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and the extended stakeholders.
    • Support agenda of executive meetings with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. customer / partner meetings, business reviews & talent / people development sessions).
    • Prepare executive presentations: Work with related teams to develop presentations to support internal & external meetings and engagements.
    • Ensure communication have a cohesive story. Work with team to develop story flow, messaging and quality of communication.

Essential Requirements
  • 8+ years of related experience with a bachelor's degree or above.
  • Proven experience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments
  • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives
  • Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across all departments
  • Strong sense of self awareness, can relate well, learn quickly, and adapt to changes while remaining calm under pressure
  • Skilled in translating ideas into clear, high impact communication
  • Experience collaborating with multiple teams in remote locations to drive initiatives at scale.
