Job Description


  • Review 2D/3D designs from customers and prepare proposals
  • Request a quotation from suppliers and submit the cost to the sales team
  • Negotiate prices with suppliers
  • Prepare PPAP documentation for approval
  • Support customer issues and recommend our products to customers
  • Discuss customer requirements with suppliers to understand their needs
  • Review product function with customers
  • Verify the product trial process
  • Create drawings for approval before production
  • Coordinate with suppliers and affiliates
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed
  • Support customer VA/VE activities and teardowns
  • Service tool support customer requirements
  • Visit customers from time to time for engaging and business development purposes.


  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Design Engineering or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in application engineering or a related field
  • CATIA, Solid work application experience
  • Strong technical background and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate prices with suppliers
  • Experience with PPAP documentation and product trial processes
  • Ability to create drawings for approval before production
  • Knowledge of customer VA/VE activities and teardowns
  • Ability to visit customers from time to time for engaging and business development purposes.
