Get-to-know the role
This role requires looking after OneGrab Branding and Demand-generation Projects and reports directly to the Head of Integrated Marketing Communications. We are looking for someone with a strong marketing strategy background - preferably from FMCGs or strategic planning role in agencies. With Grab’s fast paced environment, you will need to be able to plan the strategy while navigating through the chaos and taking hands-on actions in a timely manner. You need to demonstrate analytical thinking and share project ROI to key stakeholders. The successful candidate should adapt well to the change or unexpected situations.
The day-to-day activities:
· Define marketing & branding strategy with the goals of driving positive branding imageries among Grab’s key stakeholders
· Responsible for the end-to-end design and execution of strategic campaigns including concept ideation, media and demand planning, go-to-market strategy and budget planning. React fast to mid-campaign performance and optimise in between campaign activities.
· Leading the execution of each marketing campaign and activities to ensure flawless brand presence, relevance and conversions.
· Work with all key stakeholders and supporting functions (internal and external) to deliver high-quality work for creative, PR, media buying, events , etc. for Grab corporate.
· Work with our marketing analytics and consumer research teams to drive insight into how consumers are using our platform and translate these insights into innovative campaigns.
The must haves:
· Education: Must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree preferably with a focus on Marketing, Economic, Business, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations and/or Business Administration
· Branding marketing, online marketing, or performance marketing experience is preferred
· Familiar with the entire marketing mix – you have a good knowledge of how and when to leverage different marketing channels from above-the-line and below-the-line communications for brand activation. You must also have a clear understanding of how to plan an end-to-end marketing roll out for new campaigns e.g. product launches, consumer campaigns, merchant campaigns etc.
· Relevant marketing experience: At least 4 years of relevant marketing and public relations experience; FMCG/agency or consulting background is preferred
· Goal-oriented and can execute fast: Track record of success in achieving targets on time in a rapid growth, start-up environment
· Relentlessly drives and seeks challenges: Willingness to drive growth and able to embrace and tackle challenges
· Collaborative, team player: Effective in engaging and influencing related members to achieve targets
· Resourceful and creative: Can develop creative, innovative ideas for marketing through different channels to reach and engage consumers effectively.
· Highly detail-oriented: Ensure the quality of all marketing materials and communications
· Good command in Thai and English: Fluency in spoken and written English is preferred
· Computer literacy, MS-office, and another instant program
