Job Description

Basic Job Summary

Manages the product assurance function, defines and sets up the product quality assurance plans. Manages all products concerned and quality system issues, corrective actions and quality improvement. Initiates quality cost reduction. Oversees training activities.

Position Responsibilities

- Defines the product quality assurance plans/procedures to manage all quality activities to assure satisfying quality product delivery to customers.

- Coordinates with other departments to provide the effective corrective and preventive actions to eliminate the causes of discrepancies for quality improvement.

- Handles all customer quality complaints and follow up response and actions.

- Utilizes the quality data for analysis and lead quality improvement programs.

- Establishes the operating procedures to manage the quality assurance functions in such the way that QS 9000 called out.

- Utilizes statistical technique for product quality assurance in order to reduce massive inspection. Initiates quality cost analysis and positive actions in area of presentation, appraisal and failure for overall reduction in quality cost.

- Manages QIS staff to maintain, produce and publish quality reports and data.

- Manages product quality assurance workforces, product quality engineers, supervisors, and QA inspectors to ensure that have adequated workforces to support the quality assurance functions for each individual product/customer.

- Manages training activities to ensure that Manufacturing and other departments receive adequate training support to perform their jobs and/or to enhance their knowledge for better work performance.

- Performs special assignments as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

1. Educational background

Bachelor's degree in any Engineering field, Science.

2. Working experience

- 3 to 5 years experience in Quality Assurance Management

- Working experience 6 years up

- Proven systematic management concept, knowledge of international quality management styles and be able to lead teams for the improvement of quality assurance functions

- Knowledge of SPC for keep track of quality data information such as inspection data analysis, pareto chart, CPK, process control, etc

3. Special abilities, Good personality, Be fluent in English

4. Able to work on-site in Bang Pa-In, Ayutthaya
