Grab's lending business (GFSA - Grab Financial Services Asia) is a recent addition to Grab's array of product and service offerings focused on extension of Micro credit to drivers, agents and merchants in Grab's ecosystem. GFSA team is a combination of strong talent pool in its Regional Hub (Singapore) and deep local market operators across its focus markets. We are incredibly excited about the opportunity ahead of us. We are looking to put together the best possible combination of business build drive, industry expertise and local market depth as part of our team. GFSA team is responsible for end to end conceptualisation, design, development, execution and ongoing
management of all lending activities in its focus markets and segments.
Get to know your role:
Your role will be to work closely with business development, credit risk and sales teams to deliver our key services i.e. digital lending.
Day to Day activities (front-to-back office operations):
  • Processing and documentation of credit applications and facility creation.
  • Perform document checks and conduct customer due diligence.
  • Analyse and investigate ambiguous cases to derive conclusions.
  • Able to understand complex entity types and business structures in the local context.
  • Ensuring approval flows are followed before disbursing facilities.
  • Managing loan facilities for a wide spectrum of program/product constructs.

Additional responsibilities:
  • Maintain operational metrics and provide data backed insights on business and credit operations to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Enabling technology / digital implementations like RPA, and FinTech related solutions.

Must Haves:
  • A recognized Degree qualification, preferably in Business, Finance, Operation Management, Economics, Computer Science and Engineering
  • Min. 2 years project management and/or operations excellence roles such as digital process optimisation
  • Basic understanding of the local financial regulatory environment, compliance and customer due diligence process
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, written and verbal skills.
  • A lateral thinker and creative problem solver with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-starter and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong MS Office skills: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Working knowledge of VBA/ Python is a plus.
