Get to know the Role:
As a part of Commercial, Payment and Rewards team, this role focuses on exploring new business opportunities and build business relationship with key partners through first-of-its-kind initiatives, leveraging solutions across financial services under Grab Financial Group (Payments, Lending and Rewards)
The day-to-day activities:

  • End to end management of deal closing - sourcing (cold calling, etc), developing, negotiating and signing partnerships and contracts with notable local and regional brands (omnichannel retail) for GrabPay products

  • Working with cross-functional teams (Integration, Operations, Marketing, Business teams) across the region on strategic projects and deliverables

  • Managing and maintaining reporting for the sales pipeline through Salesforce and trackers

  • Developing financial models to and analyze key merchant opportunities and recommend sales offers and commercials

  • Developing and fine-tuning sales tools and pitch decks with reference to competitor insights and industry best practices

The must haves:

  • 5+ years experience in sales or business development role, B2B sales experience and demonstrated track record of closing notable accounts and outperforming sales targets

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with energy and a passion to succeed and outservice partners

  • Comfortable working in a start-up environment, with ambiguity and evolving timelines and processes

  • Existing network in notable e-commerce and retail accounts is a plus

  • Strong communication and time management skills
