Lead and manage a team of collection officers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation. Set clear performance objectives for the team and monitor progress towards achieving collection goals. Develop and implement effective collection strategies and procedures to minimize overdue accounts and maximize collection rates. Monitor daily collection activities and performance metrics such as collection rates, aging reports, and cash flow projections. Prepare regular reports and presentations on collection activities, progress, and challenges for management review.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience 5 years in collections management or a similar role, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team. Strong knowledge of debt collection laws, practices, and regulations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools. Proficiency in MS Office and experience with collection software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, BC365) is advantageous.
