We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team at AvaTrade.
This role is focused on expanding our presence across the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam by building strong IB networks, strategic partnerships, and driving client acquisition within the Forex & CFD industry.
Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and onboard Introducing Brokers (IBs) across the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local KOLs, influencers, trading communities, educators, money managers, and strategic partners.
- Drive new business acquisition and grow active trading accounts, deposits, and trading volumes.
- Develop and manage a strong pipeline of potential clients and business partners.
- Expand market share by leveraging existing industry networks and building new partnerships.
- Present tailored business proposals and partnership opportunities based on client needs.
- Educate clients on financial markets, trading products, risk management, and trading opportunities across FX, commodities, and indices.
- Support partners with onboarding and ongoing guidance regarding company systems and products, including Social Trading, PAMM, and MAM solutions.
- Track sales activities, client interactions, and business progress using CRM systems.
- Monitor regional market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities and recommend strategic actions.
- Work closely with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Retention, and Product to support business growth initiatives.
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of sales or business development experience within the Forex & CFD industry.
- Strong experience in retail trading (B2C) environments.
- Proven track record in building and managing IB networks and generating new business.
- Strong relationships with IBs, trading educators, signal providers, EA providers, fund managers, and trading communities.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, including Forex, commodities, and indices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong networking abilities with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
- High level of ownership, execution, and adaptability under pressure.
- Experience working with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or a related field – an advantage.
- Fluent English and local language skills are required.
