Job Description

Gather and Analyze Requirements- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives, and translate them into clear technical specifications.
Develop and Deploy Solutions - Design and develop scripts on the EDAC platform based on defined requirements, conduct UAT with users to validate functionality, and execute deployment into the production environment.
Data Analysis and Visualization- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets using tools such as Power BI, Hue, Impala, and Hive. Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations to support business decision-making.
Data Modeling and Optimization- Design and implement data models and algorithms to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Optimize data processes and workflows to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Ensure Data Quality- Perform regular audits and validation checks to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
Reporting and Metrics- Provide ad-hoc data analysis and reporting as needed. Design and implement key metrics to create comprehensive Power BI dashboards for monitoring performance, identifying risks, and improving SLA.
Maintain and Enhance Tools- Maintain and improve SQL queries and Power BI dashboards to ensure seamless decision-making for management and operations teams.
Continuous Improvement- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics.

Qualification

Bachelor's or higher degree degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the banking sector.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, R, and Excel.
Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI.
Skilled at resolving urgent issues within tight deadlines.
Proficient in utilizing various tools to ensure precise and accurate results.
Advanced expertise in Excel, including complex formulas, Power BI, and SQL, to boost team efficiency and productivity.
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
