Job Description & Summary

A career within Delivering Deal Value will provide you with the opportunity to help clients achieve maximum value on their deal transactions by solving transformational and other complex challenges. We focus on all operational aspects of a transaction, pre and post completion. We conduct pre deal and confirmatory due diligence, execute large-scale enterprise wide integrations, and support complex divestitures and separations on a wide range of functional and cross-functional areas.

Line of Service: Deals

We help clients do better deals and create value through mergers, acquisitions, disposals and restructuring. We work with clients to help them develop the right strategy before a deal, execute their deals seamlessly, identify issues and points of negotiation and value, and implement changes to deliver synergies and improvements after the deal.


  • Lead teams responsible for managing M&A transactions.

  • Assist clients in the evaluation and financial assessment of the Target in a transaction.

  • Identify pre-deal and post-deal issues and provide recommendations in an M&A environment.

  • Develop and/or maintain long-term sustainable business relationships with key local and international clients.

  • Coach and mentor staff through on the job training and formal learning events.

  • Report internally and externally in meetings and written reports.

  • Develop post-deal integration plans and monitor progress.

  • Facilitate meetings and manage conflicts in an M&A environment


  • At least ten years work experience in a core accounting or audit/assurance role, preferably in a banking or insurance environment

  • Good commercial awareness and the ability to analyse complex business issues

  • Solid technical skills, including knowledge of accounting standards

  • Ability to write professionally in English

  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Hands-on experience of M&A transactions and due diligence is an advantage
