Job Description

Key responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the architect, design and ongoing development and support of a client product.
  • Work very closely with Product Manager, Business analyst, and other stakeholders to define the scope and timeframe for each product release.
  • Responsible for the end to end delivery of the desktop workspace from the concept, requirement analysis, technical design, development, testing to the product rollout on time, on budget and on quality.
  • Work very closely with the UX to develop intuitive user workflows and ensure an excellent user experience.
  • Ensure the functional and non-functional requirements captured and clarified and further developed into the solution.
  • Lead technical design activities and review the designs to ensure that applications will exhibit performance, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability and reliability.
  • Lead the in-house development team and the vendor resources to develop and deliver releases on time, on budget, and on quality.
  • Comply with company's technical policies and software development processes and practices, and continuously optimise.
  • Provide the prompt and excellent service support as the 3rdlevel service.
  • Manage development team's performance and mentor team members with experience and technical knowledge.
  • Research new and emerging technologies, lead technology evaluations and provide technical advice to management.
  • Responsible for recruitment, training and management of resource to achieve high professional standards.

Essential Skills and Abilities
  • Minimum 10 years in software development on UI/UX and 3 years in development team leadership position.
  • Hands-on full stack experience in web and client development, H5, JS, CSS, etc.
  • Strong experience in front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, Polymer, etc.
  • Practical computing related experience:Microservices, Linux/Windows,Oracle/SQL, Web and Cloud technologies.
  • Demonstrate evidence in goodarchitectural /software design and engineering practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of JIRA and agile project management methodologies.
  • Communicate confidently and concisely to both technologists and non-technologists.
  • Can understand and detail end-user workflows, and produce accurate Product Requirements, mock-ups and roadmaps.
  • Strong teamleaderwith experience in working with virtual teams from different functions/regions.
  • Self motivated and able to work both independently and in collaboration with other technologists at all levels.
  • Quick learner and ability to quickly grasp and digest large amount of information. Technically-inclined, analytical, meticulous and attentive to details.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines with high stress tolerance.
  • Ability to confront to internal and external parties to push the project forward.

Desiredskills andAbilities
  • Vendor managementexperience.
  • Financial market/ dataknowledge and working experiencewould be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to think conceptually and pragmatically.
  • Ability to manage complexity and able to simplify, abstract and articulate.
