Job Description


Refinitiv is looking for a hands-on development manager who is excited to lead a team of engineers to deliver a strategic application for Workspace Platform and grow his/her high standard team to the next level.
Responsibilities:
  • Drive all aspects of the development including requirements definition, design, implementation, unit testing, and integration. Oversee detailed designs, implementation, and test plan reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables and delivery against roadmap.
  • Work together with business, product and UX teams to define and clarify the requirement of new & strategic Eikon Platform
  • Work closely with stakeholders to provide status, iterative releases, and make decisions throughout the delivery.
  • Partner with DevOps to ensure reliability, scalability and comprehensive monitoring of infrastructure. Ensure no service interruptions
  • Collaborate with other Platform development leads to andavoid any work duplication, ensure teams are aligned and moving in the same direction.
  • Communicate business and technical strategy to the team and relay company information
  • Report to development director the current progress, architecture, design decisions, roadblocks and dependencies
  • Help team member to grow in technical skills, development practices, business understanding
  • Participate in recruitment activities

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor or masters degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent. MBA and/or a PMP certification is a plus .
  • Extremely proficient in Frontend/Fullstack Development
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, complex product development cycles in Agile environment .
  • Defining the product and technology vision for critical aspects of the program .
  • Skilled at leading teams through the transition from ideation to execution .
  • Experience in defining project opportunities and understand customer requirements, facilitate requirements collection, leads the transition from ideation to execution.
  • Proficiency in leading cross-functional teams distributed across geographies to deliver software projects on tight schedules. .
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Should effectively communicate project expectations to all team members and stakeholders including client senior management, business representatives, partners, customers, and consultants
