Digital & Information Technology Team Leader 1

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our team as a Data Engineer or Data Analyst, depending on their skills and experience. This role will play a crucial part in managing our daily data processes, automating data workflows, setting up a new server infrastructure, and presenting summary data to the team.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. ETL Process Management:
   • Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for daily data from various sourcesincluding Excel files, pictures, PDFs, and email.
2. Data Automation:
   • Design and implement automated data processes to streamline data ingestion, cleaning, transformation, and loading, reducing manual intervention.
3. Server Setup and Maintenance:
   • Assess the company's server needs and implement an appropriate server infrastructure using suitable technology.
   • Ensure server security, backups, and regular maintenance.
4. Data Analysis and Reporting:
   • Perform basic data analysis to generate summary reports and insights from the processed data.
   • Present findings and summary data to the team using visualizations and reports.
5. Others:
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide technical solutions.
   • Stay up-to-date on the latest data technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field).
• Proven experience in data engineering, ETL processes, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and related tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.).
• Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, SQL) for data processing and automation.
• Knowledge of server setup and administration.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Additional Skills (Preferred but not Mandatory):

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) if cloud-based server solutions are considered.
• Knowledge of database systems (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
