Job Function: Production & Process Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Develop Process Design Package (PDP) and Front End Engineering Design (FEED) including process simulations, design calculations, sizing & selection of equipment with cost optimization of process modification and economic evaluation
- Detailed engineering to complete all process related aspects before procurement and construction
- Prepare / review process engineering document such as PFD, P&ID's, heat and mass balance, process data sheet, equipment specifications, cause & effect diagrams, control philosophies and operation manual
- Prepare / review RFQ's, evaluation of vendor's quotations, clarifications, Technical Bid Analysis
- Project support and working with Process Technology, Operation , other disciplines and vendors for quality assurance, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and plant performance test
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related fields.
- Good communication in both spoken and written in English (required TOEIC at least 550)
- Minimum 3 years experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical design engineering.
- Technical skills:
- General knowledge of refinery or petrochemical processes and equipment
- Understanding of the interaction between process units is essential
- Process simulation such as HYSYS, PIPENET, ASPEN experience desirable
- Personal Attributes:
- Ability to work independently as well as within multi-functional teams
- Hard working, flexibility and energetic with a strong sense of urgency
- A commitment to personal development and a readiness to accept and give feedback
