Job Description
As a Process and Equipment Transfer Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be the coordination contact for fanning out of Micron’s newest Technologies to F10.
You will have the opportunity to utilizie project management skills and work with multi-national and cross functional teams to execute successful deployment of Micron’s technologies
Responsibilities:
• Support Transfer Process Between Microns Sites
• Assist with sending and receiving site management teams in the development of a transfer project plan that obtains expected goals of wafers start date, costs and yield targets
• Use Project Management skills to identify Transfer Project risks; develop risk mitigation plans and communication of the risk to department managers
• Able to travel to the various sites to support transfer activities for durations up to 3 months
• Enable seamless flow of work across R&D and F10 organization/departments toward executing Transfer objectives
• Ability to filter a continuous, complex flow of information, determine what is important and act upon it decisively
• Able to recognize bottlenecks in critical path and fix before impacting schedule
• Work with multi-national and multi-cultural teams to execute project objectives and resolve issues/disconnects within teams. Track issues to closure.
• Facilitate communication between all transfer project team members and stakeholders
• Monitor and take corrective steps when project has deviated from schedule, scope and cost
• Evaluate Transfer success at completion verifying deliverables are met. Feedback improved methods for inclusion in the Transfer Model based on lessons learned
• Active and take initiative to improve the overall transfer methodology
Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Science or Engineering
• Self driven, able to work without supervision and possess strong time management skills
• Must be detailed oriented while understanding how the details affect the overall project picture
• Proven decision-making experience with problem resolution, facilitating fast improvements and best practices
• Excellent skills in written communication, listening, presentation, and data analysis
• Proven relationship building and interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Proficiency with the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Power Point). Sharepoint, Macro and Scripting skills is a pluspoint
