As an Operation Improvement Engineer, you will be managing scheduling systems, simulation solutions and data analytics insights that guide and execute critical decisions in the fab. You will partner with different departments in the organization to enable the team to gain insights from data and make decisions that enables breakthrough in the business. Responsibilities :
  • Manage fab scheduling and simulation solutions that plans and makes critical decisions for the production line
  • Develop high quality data analytics that give insights and drive actions to enable the team to make the right decisions and create innovative solutions
  • Explore new frontier ideas, concepts and technology and apply it to Micron to enable breakthrough solutions
  • Design and coordinate projects with several different departments to identify optimization opportunities in the Fab and deliver solutions
  • Apply industrial engineering concepts to line management, capacity analysis, scheduling and production planning
  • Work with management team to develop applications to continuously improve production metrics

    • Capacity to learn fast, adapt to changes and collaborate with cross functional teams effectively to deliver the right solutions
    • Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science and Analytics, Industrial and Systems Engineering or related field of study
    • Proficiency in basic programming skills
    • Knowledge and experience in object-oriented programming, database technologies, analytics and business intelligence tools is a plus
