•      Support organization of consultations, planning and training sessions, and awareness programs to foster participation.

•      Help address community concerns promptly and maintain trust-based relationships.

Monitoring & Data Collection:

•      Support implementation of on-the-ground monitoring protocols for relevant indicators related to hydrology, vegetation growth, fire risk, livelihoods, and others.

•      Support collection and validation of field data to support carbon accounting and biodiversity indicators aligned with appropriate standards.

•      Ensure accurate documentation for verification and audits under carbon standards.

•      Report monitoring results to the Project Manager and technical team representatives for analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Forestry, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Hydrology, Project Management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in field-based project implementation, team management, and monitoring, preferably in conservation and restoration initiatives.
  • Experience collaborating with local government agencies, NGOs, and landscape conservation and development partners.
  • Understanding of peatland ecosystems, hydrology, and community-based approaches preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in Thai (written and verbal), preferably southern Thai dialect; English communication proficiency preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in remote areas and manage diverse, multi-disciplinary  teams involving technical experts, local communities, government representatives, and other stakeholders.
  • Valid Thai driver's license and willingness to operate motor vehicle in rural settings.
  • Excellent stakeholder facilitation, negotiation, and cultural competency.
  • Strong project management and systems thinking skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with carbon projects and/or relevant standards (e.g., Premium T-VER, Verra, CCB).
  • Knowledge of GIS and field survey tools, ecological monitoring techniques, and data management.
  • Familiarity with community-based fire and natural resource management strategies.

Working Conditions
