About The Go-to-Market Manager (Food - FMCG) Role

As the Go-To-Market Manager (Food - FMCG), you will be responsible for collaborating with leadership to strategise, supporting distributors, and ensuring project success. Drive productivity plans, define sales processes, and contribute to commercial projects. Manage JBPs, collaborate with the Sales Commercial team and provide essential commercial analysis. Recommend enhanced reporting processes and actively support sales KPIs and incentives.

The benefit of this role includes salary THB120,000-160,000 + variable bonuses + hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with MD, Head of Sales, CM, and CFO to identify target markets and define strategic GTM approaches for optimal results in each market
  • Develop effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, including Sales Team Business Development Managers, Country Managers, Commercial Finance Team, and S&OP team
  • Provide support to distributors, ensuring the best go-to-market structures and incentives are in place
  • Take responsibility for the final RTM implementation and oversee the success of the project in terms of Distribution Growth and NSV Growth, working closely with the Head of Sales, CM, and BDM team
  • Support the Sales team in adhering to project time lines and goals
  • Drive productivity plans, including expansion and distribution plans
  • Define sales processes and routines in collaboration with the commercial team
  • Contribute to and support commercial projects such as Distributor Partnership and Excellence Program
  • Manage Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and contracts through effective data availability
  • Collaborate with the Sales Commercial team to execute commercial plans and activities
  • Work closely with main distributors to gather and consolidate relevant data
  • Provide the sales team with commercial analysis and reporting as needed
  • Recommend and implement enhanced reporting processes
  • Support the management of Sales KPIs and incentives

To succeed as a Go-to-Market Manager (Food - FMCG), you need a proven track record in GTM strategy, JBP experience, relevant qualifications, effective distributor management skills, independence, hands-on approach, and a growth mindset.

Key Requirements

  • Three to five years of experience in a medium to large FMCG company with a focus on GTM, field sales management, and expansion
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, expertise in volume data analysis, proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Professional working proficiency in English, effective and efficient communicator
  • Strong interpersonal skills, takes ownership of responsibilities, self-determined, and always seeking improvement
