Functional Responsibility:

  • Own and manage the P&L responsibilities of airasia travelmall in Thailand

  • Drive KPI include GMV, revenue and bottom line margin for airasia travelmall line-of-business in Thailand, by driving business development, merchant growth, marketing, operations and logistics in conjunction with cross functional business units.

  • Ensuring marketing and operations are fulfilled and implemented accordingly.

  • Lead the local merchant acquisition, management, marketing and operations to deliver to agreed Key Results (eg. no. of active SKUs, GMV, Conversion) on quarterly and annual basis, in conjunction with corresponding group teams.

  • Lead and drive the expansion of business through expansion of operation models within the country together with group

  • Lead and manage the country travelmall team, provide guidance on daily merchant management, support key merchants to drive GMV, ensure alignment between merchants, marketing, operation and logistics to offer the best possible merchandising, representation and service to drive conversion and GMV.

  • Manage the local market team on the day to day running of the airasia travelmall site for Thailand

  • Build the airasia travelmall brand awareness and preference through online and offline campaigns, localisation of regional campaigns and drive local campaigns, drive topline traffic through effective platform and tactical marketing. Device CRM strategy to drive return customers.

  • Develop and implement key initiatives that communicate and delivers airasia travelmall's key value proposition

  • Effectively lead, coach and inspire the local team across acquisition, merchant management, merchandising, marketing, operations and fulfillment

  • Act as key voice to represent airasia travelmall in Thailand both externally and internally to all cross functional teams across Product, Technology, Digital and Platform marketing and Airline Operations.

Role Requirements:

  • Total 10+ years of experience preferably in e-Commerce, online marketplace management or travel retail digitization in Thailand, or South East Asia

  • Hands on experience in Digital Marketing, Omnichannel implementation is an added advantage

  • Education: A minimum of Bachelor's/Master's Degree(s) in related field

  • Experience working with senior leadership in both early stage and larger, regional organizations - a strong understanding of the trade-offs inherent in organizations of differing s

  • Accelerated advancement throughout past positions or a part of the founding team

  • Agile all-rounder - must be equally adept at strategy, tactical decision making and operations

  • Growth is a team sport - demonstrate a track record of leading and building successful cross-functional teams that have put something new or unique out into the world

  • A special ability to juggle multiple priorities and build a sense of urgency in a dynamic environment

  • Strong analytical skills, understands complex issues, quickly absorbs information, excels in conceptual and creative problem solving

  • An engaging oral and written communicator
