Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead Thailand s foodpanda policy and government relations strategy objectives at different levels (national, state, municipal, state and federal).
  • Develop public policy strategies and positions for including the creation of materials supporting advocacy on those positions in collaboration with the regional team.
  • Will need to identify, assess, and address regulatory challenges to business objectives in key regulated industries as well as the public sector market in partnership with and public policy colleagues. This includes collaborating with business units to ensure alignment between business priorities and public policy activities and goals.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for foodpanda Thailand. This includes addressing government challenges and opportunities while also working with trade associations, industry partners, non-profit groups, and other allies to promote and build support for public policy positions.
  • Proactively shape the regulatory and political landscape to support innovation in digital technology, transport, payments, and e-commerce landscapes, working together with a wide-range of stakeholders.


  • Must have at least 7 - 15 years of public policy experience working within the government, think tanks, public interest groups, technology industry groups, or corporations.
  • Experience leading policy teams and initiatives at scale in a large organization.
  • Capability to build and maintain excellent relationships with high-ranking governmental authorities, research/academic institutions, community or industry influencers and other third parties who may have significant influence on public policies.
  • Proven ability to work independently, lead without authority, and the skills necessary to thrive in a technology start-up world with ambiguity and a rapidly changing landscape.
  • Proven ability and skills to conceive, analyze, develop and execute medium-to-long term strategies and campaigns to deal with complex issues of technology, policy and law, involving multiple issues and players.
  • Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.
