Our client is one of the world's leading manufacturers of home appliances and smart building solutions. Serving as the key production and innovation hub in Southeast Asia, the Thailand operations focus on advanced manufacturing, R&D, and regional distribution of air conditioners, refrigerators, and kitchen appliances.
To support their continued growth and expansion, they are currently seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead HR strategy and operations, drive organizational development, and strengthen talent capabilities across the Thailand business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end HR process covering recruitment, onboarding, performance management, payroll, benefits administration, and offboarding
- Serve as the local point of contact for APAC HR programs, ensuring alignment and successful execution in Thailand
- Implement and adapt group-wide HR strategies, frameworks, and employee initiatives to suit local requirements
- Support regional projects in leadership development, learning programs, compliance, and employee engagement
- Partner with line managers to identify staffing needs and deliver timely recruitment solutions
- Ensure a smooth onboarding process for both local and expatriate employees.
- Coordinate with the SSC (Shared Service Center) on payroll, benefits, and personnel data accuracy
- Ensure compliance with Thai labor laws, regulations, and internal company policies
- Maintain updated knowledge of employment legislation and provide proactive guidance to management
- Prepare and support statutory audits, HR reports, and internal compliance checks
- Provide HR advisory support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
- Foster a positive working environment, resolving workplace issues in line with company values and legal requirements
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years proven track record managing end-to-end HR operations, experience within multinational or regional environment, handling policy localization and implementation would be preferable
- Strong knowledge of Thai labor law, HR compliance, and payroll processes. Experience with manual payroll is a must.
- Detail-oriented and process-driven with the ability to manage multiple HR functions efficiently.
- Collaboration: Able to build effective relationships with APAC colleagues, local management, and employees.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills to address HR and compliance challenges and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English, and Thai (both written and spoken) to effectively collaborate with international and regional teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills is a must.
