DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage inspection activities across oil & gas projects (upstream, midstream, downstream)
- Prepare and review Method Statements, QC procedures, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), and Quality Plans
- Lead interpretation and evaluation of NDT results, analyze complex datasets, and provide technical reports and recommendations
- Supervise and verify advanced inspection activities (e.g., Robotics, UAV visual inspection, UT, and other NDE techniques)
- Perform or support UAV-based inspections, monitoring, auditing, and assurance activities
- Ensure all inspection and NDE personnel are qualified and compliant with applicable standards and regulations
- Generate and review inspection reports with actionable insights and recommendations for clients
- Ensure project deliverables comply with applicable codes and standards (e.g., API, ASME, ASTM, ISO)
- Collaborate with technology team to develop new solution to meet their customer pain point
- Collaborate with software and solution development teams to design and enhance inspection products and platforms
- Translate inspection workflows into scalable digital solutions and tools
- Support development of smart inspection systems integrating UAV, robotics, and digital inspection technologies
- Coordinate with robotics, UAV, and engineering teams to resolve technical and quality-related issues
- Contribute to building efficient, user-centric inspection products aligned with operational needs
- Support AI/ML development teams in data labeling, validation, and anomaly classification based on industry standards
- Verify inspection data quality and ensure accurate datasets for AI model training
- Apply data mining, analysis, and visualization techniques to generate high-quality, insight-driven reports
- Contribute to development of AI-driven inspection and predictive quality solutions
- Promote data-driven decision-making in inspection and QA/QC processes
- Ensure all deliverables comply with applicable codes and standards (API, ASME, ASTM, ISO)
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001
- Ensure proper documentation, traceability, and control of inspection records
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance in terms of quality compliance
- Support risk assessments and integrate quality aspects into project planning
- Ensure compliance with SSHE policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
- Lead cross-functional coordination between inspection, engineering, and digital teams
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and reliability
- Establish best practices and improve working standards for inspection and QA/QC operations
JOB SPECIFICATION
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or related fields)
- Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Energy industry
- Proven experience in in-service inspection or maintenance projects within oil & gas
- Strong knowledge of international standards and codes (API, ASME, ASTM, ISO)
- Familiarity with NDT methods and inspection techniques
- UAV experience is advantage
- Good command of both written and spoken English
- Computer literacy in MS office
- Have proven management abilities
