Job Description

As a Software Engineer on Collaboration team, you will lead teams both local and global team of engineers to build Collaboration Platform.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for advising the project team assumes ownership and responsibility for project delivery, project planning, work product, quality control, and client management.
  • Project Management - leads project planning sessions with team members to outline scope and approach. Typically works on multiple sophisticated projects/issues at a time that often requires a strong subject matter expertise. Often working as a member of the project team(s).
  • Partners with stakeholders across the company, both locally and internationally, and works closely with development teams to build and launch new products, features, and programs.
  • Communications/StatusReporting - maintains a clear line of communication with stakeholders and the team.
  • Prepares status updates for projects and regularly communicates and shares knowledge with the rest of the firm.
  • Leadership - spends a portion of time managing team or providing mentorship. Has the autonomy to make exceptions that follow established guidelines.
  • Responsible for the cost of own team/project, and/or contributing to forecasting budgets and recommending expenditure.
  • Responsible for quality and timeliness of their own work, as well as accountability for members of the team. Gives advice to team members and colleagues on functional matters.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related field or equivalent industry experience
  • 5+years of work experience in software development
  • Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, React.js
  • Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems or web applications and services.
  • Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive project from architecture standpoint
  • Proven knowledge of AWS platform and tools
  • Experiencein leading cross-functional teams distributed across geographies to deliver software projects on tight schedules.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
