The FP&A COE plays a critical role in managing all financial reporting processes, driving budgeting and forecasting cycles, and delivering strategic financial analysis (e.g., 4C analysis). The Regional FP&A COE function is expected one of the most critical functions in APAC Finance.
Responsibilities
Financial Reporting:
- Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage key reporting deliverables such as the Monthly Roll-up, SG&A file, and 4C analysis.
- Maintain and enhance financial reporting tools and dashboards (e.g., Anaplan, Tableau).
- Ensure accurate data updates in systems like Anaplan and SAC for areas including Capex, FY Forecast, SC cost, Warranty, and A&P spend.
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy in reporting, addressing ad-hoc analysis requests when needed.
- Coordinate the AOP, restatements, and forecasting cycles in alignment with corporate timelines and business priorities.
- Collaborate closely with commercial teams to validate assumptions, track performance, and provide actionable insights.
- Work with regional and functional finance counterparts (e.g., LI, Operations, Corporate, and other regional teams) to ensure alignment and consistency.
- Oversee financial closing activities (monthly, quarterly, annual), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage cycle runs, reporting schedules, and ensure workload balance across key periods.
- Conduct detailed 4C analysis and other profitability assessments by product/category.
- Deliver insights to support business strategies and margin improvements.
- Continuously improve reporting and planning processes to enhance efficiency, transparency, and control.
- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and clarify business needs.
- Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies throughout the reporting and planning cycles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA/CPD preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial reporting, and analysis.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical capability.
- Proven track record in working with financial systems such as SAP, Anaplan, SAC, and advanced Excel.
- High attention to detail, strong sense of ownership, and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Experience working in a regional or multi-country context is highly desirable.
