Preferred Qualifications
We are seeking an outstanding salesconsultant to cover primarily Korea market.This role is part of a regionalsales consulting team responsible for the technical pre-sales support of Oracle OpenCloud Infrastructure software, including Oracle Linux, Oracle VM and OracleOpenStack.
Key Requirements:

  • Becomfortable engaging at all levels within customers and partner organizations.
  • Translate customer requirements and IT strategies into deliverable solutionsand transformation plans.
  • Define pre-sales solution architectures and proposals.
  • Design and participate in technology pilot projects or Proof of Value (POV)activities alongside our customers and partners.
  • Define value propositions, positioning and differentiation to competitor’ssolutions in addressing customer pain points.
  • Workalongside partners and other third party organizations as required.
  • Represent Oracle at marketing events and customer events as required.
  • Leadthe delivery of ‘Oracle on Oracle’ solutions to customers.
  • Define and drive a programmatic pre-sales consulting engagement approach intotarget accounts and territories.
  • Support and develop existing customer and partner relationships and skills
  • Complete the technical requirement for request for information (RFI) andrequest for proposal (RFP)
  • Helpdrive sales opportunities to successful completion
  • Promote the value of professional services in early sales cycle.

Experience %26amp; Technical Skills
  • Bachelor Degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
  • Morethan 7 years’ experience in pre-sales capacity, consultant role with customerfocus, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills over phone, email, webcast,video and public conference.
  • Goodunderstand of selling process and selling cycle.
  • Demonstrable technical curiosity in keeping abreast with new technologies,especially in Open Source Software.
  • Strong technical knowledge in Linux is a must.
  • Strong technical knowledge in Virtualization platform: e.g. Xen/KVM
  • Pastexperience with OpenStack, Kubernetes, Dockers and/or Linux Containers.
  • Goodworking knowledge of Open Source tools, e.g. Chef/Puppet/Github.
  • Goodconceptual knowledge of DevOps, Big Data, IoT; working knowledge will be anadvantage.
  • Goodknowledge of software defined storage and networking.
  • Possession of industry recognized certifications in Linux, Virtualization,OpenStack, Dockers or similar is highly preferred.
  • Strong technical solution background with good specialization in one or moreareas of the following: Private/Hybrid cloud, Servers, Networking, Storage,BCDR.
  • Oracle product(s) knowledge, e.g. Oracle database, Oracle middleware is an advantage.

Language
  • Proficient in communicating with stakeholders in business English.

Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.
    Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools.
