Metrology and Laboratory Leader

Your Task:

§Monitoring compliance of product testing according to control plan / quality plan and customer requirements in the specified timeframe and ensuring traceability

§Drive on time performance of LAT, reliability and any other testing require to approve/release product

§Ensure COP (Compliance of Production) Testing compliance

§Ensure compliance of testing for special country certifications, e.g.: Product homologation, type approvals, KBA(German Road Traffic Law), CCAP (Mark Certification of Motor Vehicle Products for China), etc.

§Development of laboratory, testing and calibration procedures in compliance with quality management standards, customer, legal and government requirements

§Trigger no-conformance process in case of deviations for the product tested

§Performance of calibration/verification of testing and process equipment, ensuring traceability to NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) and or equivalent standard

§Responsibility for MSA for Lab equipment

§Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve measurement-related issues.

§Evaluate and introduce new measurement technologies and equipment to improve accuracy and efficiency.

§Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper documentation within the lab environment.

§Comply with internal regulations, collective labor contract, and health and safety instructions.

Your Profile:

§Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metrology, Materials Science, or a related field.

§5+ years of experience in metrology, quality, or laboratory management in a manufacturing environment.

§Strong knowledge of measurement systems, calibration standards, and lab testing methods.

§Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
