Today%27s projects include delivering the infrastructure and solutions to move oracle%27s internal systems to Oracle%27s Public Cloud SaaS, PaaS and IaaS; performing a global implementation of Oracle%27s cutting-edge Cloud applications; design, development and implementation of custom applications and extensions; architecting integration solutions across SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and on-premise systems; implementation of Oracle BI and Datawarehouse solutions
Within OAL, the ATG team manage and implement the technical infrastructure for OAL projects. We are expanding the team and are looking for people with strong technical skills, drive, innovation and enthusiasm.
We require people with strong abilities in the following areas:-

  • Bachelor%27s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 3+ years of expereince in Cloud Infrastructure implementation
  • Experience in Iaas/PaaS service provisioning and automation tools like Ansible, Terraform
  • Understanding of micro services architecture and experience in Kubernetes and Docker
  • Hands on experience in Python/Java/Perl/Shell scripting languages
  • Experience in implementing Kafka, Hadoop, AI/ML
  • Understanding of CI/CD methodologies and tools like Jenkins, GIT, Maven, Gradle
  • Strong ability to solve operational problems, with ability to identify and automate common routines
  • Technical skills and knowledge that extends across Application/Server/Storage/Network technologies to troubleshoot and provide system level guidance %26amp; solutions

Knowledge of the following technical areas would also be beneficial although not essential as full training will be given in the relevant areas.
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Oracle DB knowledge
  • Oracle Fusion Middleware knowledge
  • Technical Project Management skills

As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
