Job Purpose
. Be responsible, interact and review the design/ conceptual design and drawings related to process of project provided by consultant in order to maintain or enhance quality, HSE&S, service and costs level.
. Work on options develop ment and conceptual design of major projects as part of the project team.
. Be responsible for the industrialization of new products & new manufacturing processes, on a manufacturing site including transfers, MOC'S and NPI'S, Continue to drive up site performance by process improvements.

Key Accountabilities

. For capital projects, executes process studies, contributes to pre-projects and performs initial project scoping and in some cases business case development, working with a wider project team for preparation of URS, BoD, and RA as per RANGER process for right execution, except minor projects, 250k Euro.
. Interface with off site functions such as R&D/marketing and central engineering for the industrialization of new products and understand them to provide the correct input to process design and safety in projects.
. Interact with operations team to understand the need and its incorporation into design.

. Interact with project licensor through out project design phase to ensure technology/issues aligned.
. Provide right time input to consultant and review of all process related drawings.
. Carryout /review as the need arises the material mass balance and energy balance.
. Define scenarios for relief devices calculation including those associated with exothermic polymerisation reactions.
. Review the P&ID, process calculations, e.g. relief devices, pump, heat exchanger and piping calculation provided by consultant.
. Gatekeeping/inputs process data for all disciplines on engineering and procurement.
. During project execution, plays a major role in commissioning, SAT, start-up and training, and then owning the technology for the site.

Experience
. Strong academic background on chemical engineering.
. 3 - 5 years working experience in chemical business. With 1-3 years experience in polymer reactors or batch reactor processing, fine chemical industry
. Preferred 2 years working experiences in project.
. Key functional competence refers to attached table.
