Job Description Summary:Maxim is seeking an experienced Product Engineer to support assigned IC products through the full product life-cycle. Assignment will be in Maxim's automotive solutions group.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
  • Perform yield enhancement on a variety of PMIC, analog, and mixed signal products.
  • Define problems by identifying failure modes, quantity of material affected, and percent fallout.
  • Perform data analysis and problem characterization.
  • Perform lab measurement and validation.
  • Perform failure analysis fault isolation and circuit analysis to identify the root cause of low yield.
  • Drive corrective actions in design, test, and fabrication process.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and experience with IC debug. Hands-on experience with lab equipment.
  • Statistical data analysis skills.
  • Knowledge on semiconductor process and device physics. Knowledge on analog circuits
  • Good team player and can smoothly work with cross functional team across the globe
  • Thrives in a global, multi-functional team environment
  • Self-motivated to plan, organize, and prioritize assigned activities

Advantageous but not required:
  • Knowledge of semiconductor wafer fabrication process (desirable)
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing/testing, yield engineering or statistical processes domain is an added advantage
  • Possesses good English communication skills, written and verbal

This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations including but not limited to US Government International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), US Export Administration Regulations (EAR), or US Treasury Regulations.
