IT Product Management Senior Advisor
To drive innovation in product development at Dell Technologies, we need forward-thinking people on our Voice Contact Center Platform team. As part of this team, we devise product and solution strategies as well as product roadmaps while looking at the market for opportunities to make sure our offerings maximize profitability and remain competitive.

What you'll achieve
As an IT Product Management Senior Advisor, you will be driving all aspects of IT Product Portfolio activity, including collaborating and coordinating across all IT and business segments. You will work with internal customers (i.e., Product Managers, Cross Product Leads, Engineers and Business Advisors, etc.) to complete efforts on time and within budget.
You will:

  • Coordinate the development and execution of roadmap efforts by working with product team to define, sequence, and estimate duration of activities and prepare schedules to meet product objectives

  • Ensure consistency and adherence to Dell Technologies standards, processes, and policies for all projects

  • Facilitate and handle resource planning, cost estimation, budget development, and cost control

Essential Requirements

  • 8 to 12 years of experience in a professional role

  • Good understanding of Agile, product focused practices and techniques

  • Ability to find opportunities and make recommendations for process improvements and/or Application Reliability Management

  • Knowledge of Public/Private Cloud Infrastructure and Development practices

Desirable Requirements

  • Ability to provide direction and leadership to others

  • Knowledge on Avaya PodFX platform and Oracle/Sonus SBC is preferred.

  • Deep understanding of Telecom services especially in the following areas:

  • Avaya Communication Manager

  • Avaya G650 and G450 gateways

  • Avaya System Manager

  • Avaya Session Manager

  • Avaya AES

  • Avaya CMS

  • Avaya hardphone/softphone

  • Telecom connections: ISDN PRI and SIP
