About this job:
  • Review & sharpen country fungicide portfolio strategy in line with region Disease control portfolio direction, provide guidance & drive implementation to deliver country growth ambition and enable profitable market share growth
  • Develop robust brand plans for new products, pre-launch activities & launch plan, follow New Product Introduction (NPI) guidance
  • Co-develop PPD, PLCM, and brand planning in collaboration with regional portfolio
  • Build portfolio strategies aligned to market need & supporting delivery of CU 5-year plan
  • Ensure that country brand plans and 5-year plan are aligned to regional strategies
  • Operational marketing aspects for the CU (e.g. SOP, Pricing, PDC etc.)
  • Maximize profit generated from Fungicide portfolio
  • Act as a contact point on Fungicide Product Strategy and portfolio-related matters for alignment

Accountabilities:
  • Portfolio strategy, lead brand planning, post-patent-defense, product lifecycle management, and value & portfolio pricing for fungicide Product
  • Lead NPI excellence through leadership and coordination of an NPI team and overall process (where relevant)
  • Contribute as a key member of the Crop Protection Leadership team (CPLT) and crop campaign teams, ensuring that operational decisions are aligned to portfolio strategies and maximize value of assets across crops
  • Lead development of 5-year CU portfolio plan to enable profitable market share growth and gain consensus on priorities and resource plans
  • Develop and monitor market intelligence, bringing customer insight into brand strategies and marketing plans
  • Work with Head of Marketing and Regional Portfolio Head to reassess key priorities to ensure optimal resource allocation.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 7 - 10 years work experience in Agricultural chemicals, having worked either in commercial or technical role in Agricultural companies.
  • Good at working with Customers and Channels in country
  • Understand market dynamics and competitive environment in CU fungicide product markets and translate it into strategy.
  • Designs effective product life cycle management strategy and brand strategy
  • Ability to apply MaSE pillars effectively
    • Develops strong, distinctive brand
    • Delivers distinctive value proposition to customer
    • Develops/implements effective pricing strategy
    • Able to use market research effectively to understand customer, markets and channels
  • Anticipates changes in the market and adjusts strategies accordingly
