Job Summary

Work as a subject matter expert in collaboration with a variety of teams to effectively support project deliverables to the customer, create long and short-term full property technology project plans to complete on time and within budget. May include establishing the schedule, targeting milestones, and setting expectations to adhere to project deadlines. Set expectations that deployments and implementations are rolled out with careful due diligence and always focus on quality of work, preventing any potential network failure or re-work actions.

This is an exempt role and is a member of the Project Management, Full Tech department reporting directly to the Director, Technology Solutions with a work location of Field / Remote.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Communicating, establishing, tracking, schedule, targeted milestones, client expectations, and deliverables of building system technology solutions.
  • Set expectations that deployments and implementations are rolled out with careful due diligence and always focus on quality of work, preventing any potential network failure or re-work actions.
  • Tracking, reporting of project financials and forecasting of project finances.
  • Work with accounting to track, prepare, and file AIA billing through clients management portals.

  • Work independently as a subject matter expert in collaboration with a variety of teams to effectively support project deliverables to the customer, create long and short-term full property technology project plans to complete on time and within budget. May include establishing the schedule, targeting milestones, and setting expectations to adhere to project deadlines.
  • Work independently to lead and set expectations that deployments and implementations are rolled out with careful due diligence and always focus on quality of work, preventing any potential network failure or re-work actions. Has authority to delegate tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them.
  • Make recommendations and effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with a property technology project.
  • On a day-to-day basis, serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to set expectations for team synergy.
  • Track the project status, periodically generate management reports, and attend meetings to coordinate project plans.
  • Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
  • Adjust schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change.
  • Responsible for day-to-day support within the property technology function taking ownership of job performance, seeking direction to improve, applying feedback, aligning with others, and working as a team player to deliver an exceptional customer experience at every interaction. Develops and maintains excellent working relationships with internal teams, striving to enhance the level of mutual cooperation.
  • Conforms to the highest professional standards, escalating recommendations in support of scalable business needs, remaining curious with an aptitude to research, implement, and adapt to innovative solutions.
  • Work independently to creatively build internal/external customer respect and loyalty, identify and utilize effective communication channels and methods, while adapting the communication to the level and experience of the audience.

  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a bachelor's degree from an accredited university (or international equivalent) in computer science, information technology, network engineering, management, or another related field preferred. In lieu of a degree, must have a minimum of ten years of project management experience.
  • 5+ years of customer-facing work experience as an IT project manager in a professional environment in construction and/or hospitality focused on full property technology.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Projects in Controlled Environments (PRINCE2) certification is a plus.
  • Must have strong understanding of project financial reporting and forecasting.
  • Experience with construction project management software Procore, GCPay, Smartsheets
  • Experience with NetSuite is a must
  • Experience with AIA billing
  • Experience forecasting/tracking/reporting project revenue
  • General knowledge of networking, voice, access control, CCTV, back of house computers/services
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to operate with a high sense of urgency, professionalism, integrity, collaboration, and ethics.
  • Supports the team in building value through creativity and ingenuity, providing leading edge and cost-effective solutions considering new methods to drive the customer advantage.
  • Demonstrated intermediate level PC skills with the ability to effectively operate within a Windows Operating System and Windows based programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, and Project.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Must be able and remain flexible to travel up to 20% to various current and prospective customer, sales, and project locations - domestic and international, as needed.
