ObjectiveBe the Regional Sales Manager, who drives sales, identifying and generating opportunities by working with the team for different customers. You will foster client satisfaction. You will develop customer relationships through coordinating and/or attending trade shows, seminars, etc. You will provide education of Honeywell product through technical presentations, seminars and workshops. You will manage, maintain, and provide reports and opportunity status using our customer relationship management system. You will analyze competitive intelligence and market trends. You will work with Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP) to strategically align sellers and customer accounts.
This position undertakes the sales activities in Territory within Asia (outside of China)
Areas of Responsibility:
- Work with UPT Sales Manager & Sales Director to implement the Asia sales and growth strategy, for the named territory, for the UPT business. Report directly to UOP Thailand Country Manager.
- Responsible for leading and managing the UPT sales to meet individual AOP targets as well as supporting the UPT Asia sales team target in the Asia region.
- Develop the UPT business development by demand generation and pushing out Breakthrough Initiatives.
- Lead and drive the opportunities: understanding the customer and their customer's needs, build strong intelligence on competitor's behavior, activities, and their response to each opportunity.
- Development of commercial proposals in an agreed time frame per commercial and business requirements.
- Complete the UPT monthly forecast for area of responsibility to insure timely and accurate forecasting. Manage sales activities on Blue Sheets and Bluesheet +.
- Manage the day to day sales forecast for revenue and margin and provide regular feedback to UPT-Management regarding changes that will affect financials and engineering scheduling and equipment delivery.
- Utilize Sales Force (SFDC) to manage customer information.
- Prospect for sales opportunities, set sales strategies, negotiate and close sales.
- Manage the agreement preparation / purchase order handling and coordinate all activities with the Customer Service Order Management Group (COM) to ensure order fulfillment and a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Lead, manage and resolve all accounts receivables for customers. Coordinate with Credit and Collections group for past due collections.
- Forecast sales revenue potential in SFDC/SAP on a rolling 18-month basis for your customers, updating by the prescribed time at the end of each month.
- Develop and communicate intelligence concerning customers customer segments competitors and UOP's product/service performance to drive the sales opportunities.
- Manage the customer relationship in promoting UOP-HON products and agreed initiatives to maximize revenue potential.
- Manage customer relationships at all levels to insure customer needs are identified and met.
- Coordinate activities with HON, HPS, UOP (LST, Services & STS etc) groups to set the right expectations, coordinate activities and build and strengthen relationship for customers in territory of responsibility to maximize customer satisfaction so that they continue to be a repeat customer for UOP.
Be knowledgeable and have a good understanding of UOP's technologies, products and services. Remain aware of advances and current thinking and continue looking at ways to apply the latest technologies to support the sales effort. Increase technical knowledge thru learning and is able to conduct technical and commercial presentation to customers on your own.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemical is a plus
Between 5-10 years in sales, preferably in the Oil & Gas Industry
Proven track records of sales results and strong key account management
Excellent written communication skills, oral communications skills, and presentation skills
