Public Affairs Manager

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain high-level relationships with key Thai authorities, primarily the Ministry of Finance (MOF), the Bank of Thailand (BOT), and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (MDES)
• Act as the primary bridge for policy communication, ensuring the business model is aligned with and supported by Thailand's Digital Economy initiatives
• Continuously track changes in the Civil and Commercial Code, MDES directives, and specific Pico/Nano Finance regulations governed by the MOF
• Provide management with deep-dive analysis into the Thai political climate and upcoming legislative shifts that could impact the lending and digital sectors
• Coordinate official visits, public hearings, and industry association meetings to represent the company's interests

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Public Policy, Law, Political Science, or Economics. A Master's degree from a top-tier Thai or international university is highly regarded
• 7+ years of experience in Public Affairs or Government Relations within Thailand
• Prior professional experience working within or closely with relevant Thai government agencies (e.g., MOF, BOT, or MDES) is highly preferred
• Strong preference for candidates coming from Traditional Banking, Fintech, or Payment Gateway backgrounds
• Demonstrated expertise in navigating complex Thai bureaucratic structures and a proven track record of building rapport with senior stakeholders through appropriate cultural etiquette
• Native-level Thai and professional English proficiency are required
• Additional fluency in Mandarin is an advantage, supporting our efforts to align with regional stakeholders and cross-border leadership teams
