An exciting Regional Sales Director, ASEAN (x1 vacancy) is now available in a leading firm in Bangkok. This is a leadership position responsible for driving sales growth in the ASEAN region.

About The Regional Professional Sales Director Role

This role involves in developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, managing a high-performance sales team, and fostering strong relationships with key clients and partners. The person will play a crucial role in achieving revenue targets, expanding market share, and ensuring overall business success within the assigned region. Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing the business strategy for long-term sustainable and profitable growth
  • Align and transfer expertise between Strategic Sales and Operational Sales
  • Leading the team of strategic and operative sales, direct and indirect
  • Predict the market and customer trends
  • In alignment with the region president / local managing director: Develop a long-, mid- and short-term professional channel sales plan, translate it into specific actions and define KPIs to monitor the progress. The achievement of the professional channels targets has a direct and strong impact on the overall performance of the region / subsidiary
  • As member of the region / local management team: Align the professional channel sales plan with all relevant stakeholders (retail / online channel director, marketing and product management director, etc.) driven by a company first mindset
  • Responsible for the execution of global professional projects with all departments involved (finance, logistics, marketing, etc.)
  • Support the change of the status quo in order to guarantee efficient processes and successful results
  • Regular exchange with the professional channels directors within the headquarter to align region / local targets with global targets
  • Sales revenue & profitability

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum eight - 10 years experience in professional sales, product management or marketing, ideally in an international environment with prior sales leadership experience
  • Degree in business management, sales, or marketing
  • Experience in building and executing a strategy
  • Strong analytical skills able to predict trends and generates scenarios
  • Business fluent in English
  • Confident handling of MS Office / Google Workspace and basic knowledge of SAP
  • Commitment, strong communication skills as well as internationally oriented thinking and acting, paired with entrepreneurial spirit and distinctive customer orientation round off your profile
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 30-40%)
  • Excellent interpersonal communicator (Fluent in English. Knowledge of additional regional languages or German are a plus)
  • Ability to manage time and juggle multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables. Self-motivated team player, with the ability to work independently to achieve your targets
