The Role Responsibilities &Our Ideal Candidate
Strategy

  • Awareness and understanding of the Group&rsquos business strategy and model appropriate to the role.


Business

  • Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates


Processes

  • Responsible for executing the tasks under Account Services Unit and comply with regulations, group policies and operational risk


People and Talent

  • Build the appropriate culture and values and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.

  • Responsibility toexecute the assigned tasks under Account ServicesUnit.

  • Monitor job descriptions and objectives to be in line with the performance against responsibilities and objectives.


Risk Management

  • Awareness and understanding of the Group&rsquos Risk Management Framework.

  • Monitoring and escalating the risks to Line Manager / Team Leader as appropriate.


Governance

  • Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.


Regulatory & Business Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group&rsquos Values and Code of Conduct.

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

  • Lead the Account services, TH to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank&rsquos Conduct Principles: Fair Outcomes for Clients Financial Crime ComplianceThe Right Environment.

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.


Key Stakeholders

  • Regulators i.e. BOT and RD, and internal relevant units.


Other Responsibilities

  • Embed Here for good and Group&rsquos brand and values. Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures.
