Job Description
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve company sales targets and objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and coach a team of sales representatives to maximize their potential and achieve individual and team goals.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth, emerging trends, and potential competitors.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and distributors, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
  • Sales Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to assess progress towards goals and make data-driven decisions.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, welding technologies, and our product portfolio to provide expert guidance to customers and sales team members.
  • Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to support financial planning and decision-making.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs within the sales team and provide coaching and training as necessary to enhance skills and product knowledge.
  • Sales Collateral: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop sales collateral, promotional materials, and sales presentations to support the sales process.
  • Customer Feedback: Gather and relay customer feedback to the product development and customer support teams to enhance product offerings and customer satisfaction.
The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in sales management, preferably in the welding equipment or industrial products industry.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in sales management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to travel as necessary to meet with customers and attend industry events.
