Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a business development professional with strong commercial acumen and excellent interpersonal skills to establish, negotiate, and maintain key partnerships within the local financial ecosystem.

You will act as Vantage's ecosystem connector in the local market—leveraging deep industry understanding, resource integration, and strategic collaboration to drive long-term brand growth and influence in the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with local financial service providers, KOLs, industry associations, and leading media to build a sustainable ecosystem network
  • Lead business negotiations, and drive the design, execution, and delivery of partnership initiatives
  • Conduct regular market and policy analysis to identify partnership opportunities and provide strategic recommendations
  • Collaborate with internal business teams to integrate resources and maximize value from partnerships
  • Represent the company at industry events to enhance brand presence and professional image in the local financial sector

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • Either: 5+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or key account management within the financial industry (e.g. banking, securities, insurance, payments, fintech), with an existing network in the sector
  • OR
  • 10+ years of overall work experience, including at least 3 years in brand/strategy/business roles at large companies with a strong intention to transition into the financial industry
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is required for this role to support communication with Mandarin-speaking clients/partners in China/Taiwan markets. Proficiency in additional regional languages is an advantage
  • High emotional intelligence, with strong interpersonal insight, negotiation skills, and cross-cultural collaboration ability

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing partnerships or resources with leading financial institutions, government bodies, or industry associations
  • Experience in cross-border finance, digital payments, or enterprise services
  • Proven track record in building regional partnership ecosystems from scratch or leading complex negotiations
