About our group:

Our team is focused on mechanical process development at the Seagate Korat Slider Factory. We are seeking a driven and innovative engineer to lead the development of next-gen wafer dicing process - specifically in tooling, machine design and software development. Our mission is to transform wafer dicing process, enabling high-efficiency, high-precision, and future-ready solutions that align with next-generation product roadmaps.

About the role - you will:

  • Take ownership of next-gen wafer dicing solutions, focusing customized tooling and machine design for new product integration.
  • Design, develop, and validate automated systems and mechanical tooling that support high-precision, high-throughput manufacturing processes.
  • Lead the development of wafer dicing transformation projects from concept through proof-of-concept and final deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, identify bottlenecks, and optimize end-to-end material flow processes.
  • Lead risk assessments, feasibility studies, and pilot trials to ensure technical robustness and process scalability. . Manage project execution, timeline tracking, and stakeholder communication to ensure timely delivery and adoption.

About you:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Material, or a related field).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge in automation, tooling design, and process integration.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to work cross-functionally across development, production, and equipment engineering teams.
  • Strong project management skills and accountability in driving tasks to closure under fast-paced timelines.
  • Effective communicator in both written and spoken English

Your experience includes:

  • Knowledge of process development and integration in high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with advanced material properties and their applications.
  • Proficiency in CAD design or simulation tools and basic automation control systems is an added advantage.
