The Opportunity:
This is an exciting new role. As Senior Manager, your main objective will be to engage with a strategic B2B client, provide guidance to internal teams ensuring the successful account management of Agoda's strategic partners, and to exceed the K.P.I.s and growth expectations that meet the company's business goals.
In doing so, this individual will bring superior business development skills, solid analytical skills, strong account and partner management experience, the ability to work collaboratively and drive relevant teams.
In this Role, you'll get to:
  • Help business owner and drive a strategic partnership project from the business side. Maintain a central view across all workstreams.
  • Work closely with all involved team at Agoda (Product, Marketing, IT, Finance, Legal etc) to support their contributions to the project by helping them align with the partner on a strategic and tactical levels so that all planned services are delivered at the intended quality level with the planned efforts / resources
  • Lead specific areas of the project supporting SEO marketing, Finance reconciliation, as well as partner's supply management
  • Build relationships at all levels of the partner organization to foster transparent and fruitful communications.
  • Develop new opportunities with the partner, finding areas where our strengths are complementary
  • Identify and recommend future opportunities to enhance business growth in the market to stay in line with company strategy
  • Help report on performances and work with FP&A to maintain and help update the plan of record.
  • Join and conduct regular meetings where updates are communicated clearly to both internal and external stakeholders

What you'll Need to Succeed:
  • Fluency in both English and Japanese (verbal & written)
  • Min 3 years of experience in the space of optimization and/or innovation to accelerate business through ‘partnership
  • Strong partner management skills - past success in influencing both internal & external stakeholders
  • Excellent commercial judgment (i.e. strategy and consulting)
  • Ability to anticipate & proactively manage potential partners requests
  • Strong numerical & analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to create easy to understand data visualization

It's Great if you have:
  • Preferably in a quantitative subject (e.g. computer science, mathematics, engineering, science, economics finance, or MBA).
  • Work experience with large Japanese company or Fortune 500 company
  • Innovation / Travel industry / e-commerce / tech / consulting experience
  • SQL (beginner to intermediate)
