ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To work closely with USA and Thailand to understand their requirements.
  • Planning and tracking materials requirement of local & overseas raw materials of current & new projects.
  • Controlling and monitoring local & overseas raw materials inventory and premium freight charges.
  • Preparing monthly material reports as required.
  • Reviewing and ensuring supplier delivery terms on Purchase Order and actual shipment is well aware and followed between supplier and freight forwarder.
  • Providing corrective problem solving if actual material received less than, significantly higher than, delay from the plan.
  • Monitoring the material planning & scheduling and supplier shipment release for each supplier based on the calculation of safety stock, lead time, and supplier capacity.
  • Continuing to improve material planning and inventory to achieve company targets.
  • Supporting the Annual Inventory Count activity.
  • Engineering Document preparation.
  • Being able to do others as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Business Administration, International Business Management, Maritime Management, Marketing, Logistics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in materials planning, and inventory control in manufacturing, preferably in electronics manufacturing.

PREFERRED:

  • Problem solver, strong leadership, and good analytical skills with a service mind.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a good level of English language.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Excel.

  • Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
