Job purpose
We are seeking an enthusiastic Quality Engineer to join our growing team of technical experts where you will build and deliver our large-scale systems that helps our clients to accelerate their e-commerce business in the Southeast Asia market.
As a part of the software development team, the candidate will focus on improving the quality of the company's products, by applying industry best practices, and expanding the coverage of automated testing. You will work in a modern software development house using modern tools and technologies, using Agile techniques executed in a large scale cloud-hosted environment. We leverage both SQL and No-SQL systems.
A successful candidate will develop and enhance a large-scale micro services system running in a Kubernetes cluster. Candidates should expect to work with other team members on designing and implementing core platform components and leverage the development of good monitoring and observation systems to ensure that a aCommerce delivers high quality technology services
Job Responsibilities
. Analyze system requirements and identify testing strategies that maximize test coverage and/or improve system reliability and performance within an agile development team
. Ability to work with Business Analysts on testing options and strategies to drive the production of high quality systems. We want people who get a kick out of uncovering those hard-to-find bugs and devising method to avoid the bug in the first place
. Execute and monitor testing activities and ensure they are completed as expected while evaluating the impact of the defects that emerge
. Utilize an automation test framework and add test cases as needed to ensure frequent test coverage
. Works as Hybrid team with a mix of in-house and outsource ensuring the deliverable result is in high quality standard and strictly well follow security policy.
. Works closely with internal and customer teams to understand business requirements, coordinate testing activities, and communicate test results
. As team's member in validating thorough testing, ensuring that project goals are met
. Help client determine UAT approach and strategy
Qualifications
. Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
. Strong analytical and problem skills as well as an attention to details
. At least 3-5 year's experiences working in Website development (E-commerce is a plus).
. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and working experience in an Agile environment
. Proficiency in developing and implementing test plans and test scripts
. Ability to work effectively in a team focused on bringing great services to market
. Experience in large-scale software development.
. Excellent time management, planning, organization and prioritization skills.
. Ability to manage the small team.
. Good problem analysis and troubleshooting skills.
. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
