Server Systems Engineering Manager

What you’ll achieve
The Manager, Systems Engineer will use their technical and industry knowledge to drive sales and partnership with the chosen partnership and to support the end customer through proper expectation management.
You will:

  • Direct a team to provides technical expertise to channel partners in selecting, implementing and developing competitive product and services applications and solutions

  • Coordinates with account management resources to make customer calls and presentations as well as participate in bid and walk-through meetings with the customer as necessary

  • Manages the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce

  • Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members

Essential Requirements

  • Channel management and technical support experience, years of leadership experienc

  • Solid IT professional and technical background, rich IT pre-sales experience

  • Familiarize yourself with one or more of the following areas: storage, disaster recovery/backup, virtualization, cloud computing, big data, data centres, etc.

  • Technical degree or equivalent required, eight years or more of relevant work experience
